Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
- The candidate must be a citizen and permanent resident of an eligible country (Commonwealth Member) or a British Protected Person.

Rules:
- This scholarship is available for full-time studies only and funds one year of master’s and doctoral studies (complete, you are supposed to complete in four years).
- For Masters (MPhil), candidates must choose at least three universities and courses while for PhD candidates, they must mention three universities and two supervisors.
- Doctoral candidates must have at least one letter of support from their proposed supervisors.
Candidates must also apply to the preferred university and program before the scholarship can be offered.

HEC has announced the following criteria for applying for the Commonwealth Masters and Doctoral Scholarships 2023.
Candidate must be a Pakistani or a citizen of AJK and hold 16 years of Master’s Degree (MPhil) and MS/MPhil degree for Ph.D. by the closing date of the HEC application portal.
Applicants must also have at least 60 marks out of 100 on the HAT. If you have not yet taken the HAT, you can apply for it on the ETC website.
