Future Journalism Teacher Scholarships | Fully Funded JEA Scholarship is officially announced by the Journalism Education Association (JEA) for the intake of 2023 journalism students. If you are looking for a scholarship for journalism, you should now be ready to apply for the Future Journalism Teacher Scholarship. JEA’s more than 2,600 members include journalism educators and publishing consultants, media professionals, press associations, advisory organizations, libraries, publishing companies, newspapers, radio stations, and the Department of Journalism. JEA’s curriculum offers hundreds of lessons in the areas of writing, multimedia, design, and law and ethics. Each lesson includes standards, learning objectives, content, and assessment guides. The Journalism Education Association sponsors up to two $1,000 scholarships for education majors who wish to teach academic journalism. Each recipient must be a college junior, senior, or master’s degree student in a program designed to prepare him or her to teach at the secondary school level.
Current secondary school journalism teachers who are in a degree program to improve their journalism teaching skills are also eligible. Journalism is the activity of gathering, evaluating, creating, and presenting news and information. It is also a product of the same activities. Journalism is a Noble profession.
