Swiss Government Scholarships 2023 | Study in Switzerland has following requirements:
- Entrants from all over the world are welcome to apply.
- Master’s/Ph.D. Degree/or comparable university degree obtained before July 31, 2023 (degree certificate) approved by the Swiss university The degree must be presented to the Federal Commission for Scholarships as verification prior to the start of the scholarship.
- Applicants for the Master of Arts must have a bachelor’s degree and have been born after December 31, 1987.
- Entrants who have lived in Switzerland for more than a year at the start of the scholarship in September are ineligible.
- Applicants must provide a letter from an academic host professor (with a brief CV) at the selected Swiss university indicating why she/he is ready to supervise and assist with the study. The application will be rejected unless such support is provided.
- Applicants must submit a research proposal within a time frame. This is the application’s focal point. The candidate must give his or her undivided attention.
- Applicants must be fluent in the language skills required for the research/studies.
- Participants who have previously received a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship are ineligible to apply for another.
- Scholarship recipients are expected to relocate to Switzerland during the duration of their grant.
