Scholarship Benefits Offered:
The Foundation only pays for tuition and living expenses for students who are interested in studying here. The AKF Scholarship does not cover eligible students’ travel expenses. Ph.D. students are funded for the first two years of their studies, after which they are expected to contribute other resources to students participating in the Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship.
The scholarship amount includes a 5% annual service fee, which is treated as a loan for students in the Aga Khan Foundation’s International Scholarships. A guarantor must sign the loan agreement for Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship students.

The Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship is accessible to visitors from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar, and Mozambique.
